NUS Cities Newsletter (2023-2024)
Acknowledging the wisdom of practitioners
NUS Cities is rolling out a newsletter with latest insights into trends and hot topics. The Communication Design Hub will take on an advisory position to provide professional opinions on publishing and editorial design. The designers will create a team library of assets and templates for future use in creation of the newsletter.

A Library of Assets
To ensure the longevity of this digital newsletter, the Hub developed a library of illustrated assets of iconic Singapore cities and multicultural diversity. These illustrations are used throughout the newsletter for a more vibrant take on the editorials.

The Inaugural Issue 01
For the first issue of the NUS Cities Newsletter, the Hub filmed and animated an opening address to be used in the digital newsletter. The Hub also formatted the newsletter and electronic direct mail (EDM) to be sent out to friends and partners of NUS Cities.

Issue 02
Issue 02 was designed in the same illustration style, but with the central theme of Urban Cooling for the Urban Heat Island Effect. New graphics include factories, sustainability motifs, and an expanded ecosystem of flora and fauna.
